I am sincerely impressed by Josh Guess. I have read literally thousands of books in my lifetime and I have to say I am impressed. I wasn't sure if he would be able to impress me,with books that were non zombie related but this series is already blowing me away. Loved every minute of it and can't wait to read the,next one! Not every author can write across genres well but he he is doing a masterful job of it.Product details

Damage The Next Chronicle Book 2 eBook Joshua Guess Reviews
One of my favorites. People with powers done right. Kit, Archer, Ray ... They all stand out as individuals tied together in a story that's drawn me in. Can't wait for Book 3.
Part 2 of this series away from zombies and into something different. Easy to read but by no means simple minded. Very enjoyable and looking for more in this series. As usual I need to leave a snarky note to Joshua telling him to get busy, I read fast pal.
Not as good as book 1 but I am hopeful for book 3. The story moved along but it felt as if it had been written in a rush so was a little disjointed. I am a big fan of Joshua Guess so I am confident that the third book will live up to the potential of the first one )
Unexpected twists. Right and wrong aren’t black and white and that theme will play out more in the next book I bet. Fun sci-fi story.
A very entertaining series. Believe me., you won't be bored or feel the story drag. This is a page turner! It has characters you fall in love with, wish they were your friends. It has an alternate spin to our world if this had taken place. Loved both books and hope there will be a third. JIR
This is a good sequel to a good book. If you enjoyed the superhuman characters and setting of Next, you'll really enjoy seeing it taken to the next level in Damage. It's interesting because it features superhumans with superhero-like superpowers, but they're real people rather than caricatures in spandex. Definitely an enjoyable take on the superhuman/superhero genre.
I enjoyed Damage more than Next, not that I disliked Next. I still have yet to dislike a story from Josh. Damage progresses the story line set up in Next in the best possible way. Josh has come up with some spectacular super human abilities that I haven't seen anywhere else. The bad guy/guys aren't who you expect them to be. I had a hard time putting this one down. I'm ready for book three.... when can we expect that, Josh?
